The official website of Supreme Court, Pakistan was hacked and defaced on
Tuesday, 27th Sep 2011 by a hacker who placed a derogatory message
against the judicial system in Pakistan and Chief Justice of Pakistan.
The hacker also demanded an immediate and permanent ban on access of all
pornographic websites in Pakistan.
Same time, last year, two young hackers, hacked into the website of the Supreme court. A trial was placed and both were issued Bail on April 11 since both were minors, under the age of 18.
Tuesday's Defacement was responded to, immediately and the site went offline. The Defaced page was removed and the website was online by the evening. Authorities also came into action almost immediately and ordered an inquiry.
The Hacker demanded a ban on all pornographic websites and wanted suo moto against the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). They also cleared that the data on the website was intact and not damaged.
It mentioned that only the index file was replaced. However, the authorities are still looking into any backdoors which may have been placed. Investigations have also begun to trace the hacker and find the vulnerability which let them in.
